Scan directly at the point of use without an external tracking system. ATLASCAN Max makes it easy to inspect hidden areas, deep cavities and difficult-to-access surfaces.
Its lightweight design and optional Wireless Scanning Module provide complete freedom of movement without the need to transport the component to the metrology lab.
Seamless scanning
Switch between scanning modes directly from the handheld unit. ATLASCAN Max provides the right mode for rapidly capturing large surfaces, inspecting fine details at high resolution and measuring difficult-to-access areas.
Data captured using different modes is automatically combined within a single point cloud or mesh.
Measurement adapted to the application
Dynamic Scanning technology enables accurate data acquisition without rigidly fixturing the workpiece. The component can be rotated, repositioned or even held by hand during measurement.
The system remains reliable in production environments affected by vibration and movement, allowing the measurement process to adapt flexibly to each application.
Multi-mode scanning
Hexagon handheld 3D scanners offer three easily selectable measurement modes tailored to key application types.
Standard mode uses 26 blue laser lines to cover large surfaces quickly.
Fine mode uses 14 blue laser lines to capture small features at high resolution.
Line mode uses a single blue laser line for scanning difficult-to-access areas.
Dynamic Scanning
With reference targets applied to the component, inspection can be performed without time-consuming rigid fixturing. The part can be moved freely, rotated on a turntable or even held by hand while the scanner maintains accurate measurement within a unified coordinate system.
With the optional Wireless Scanning Module, Hexagon’s handheld 3D scanner range offers truly wireless measurement. The scanner connects to a lightweight belt-mounted unit containing the connectivity and power-supply technology, providing genuine freedom of movement.
