Complete freedom of movement
Bring the measurement directly to the component. MARVELSCAN allows hidden areas, deep cavities and difficult-to-access surfaces to be inspected flexibly. Its lightweight, ergonomic design and optional Wireless Scanning Module provide unrestricted operation in the metrology lab, on the shop floor or at external locations.
Less preparation, faster inspection
Integrated photogrammetry enables scanning without applying targets directly to the component. Using reference targets positioned in the surrounding environment significantly reduces preparation time, making the system particularly effective for large, delicate or repeatedly inspected parts.
Seamless multi-mode scanning
Switch between different scanning modes directly from the handheld unit. MARVELSCAN provides the right mode for rapidly capturing large surfaces, inspecting fine details at high resolution and measuring difficult-to-access areas. Data captured in different modes is automatically combined within a single point cloud or mesh.
Multi-mode scanning
MARVELSCAN offers three scanning modes that can be selected directly from the handheld unit to suit different measurement tasks.
Standard mode uses 22 blue laser lines for the rapid capture of larger surfaces.
Fine mode uses five parallel blue laser lines to capture small features at high resolution.
Line mode uses a single laser line for scanning deep or difficult-to-access areas.
Dynamic Scanning
Dynamic Scanning technology eliminates the need for time-consuming, rigid part fixturing. The workpiece can be rotated, repositioned or even held by hand during measurement, while the system continues to capture data within a unified coordinate system.
The integrated photogrammetry unit and external reference targets allow measurement without applying targets directly to the component. This reduces preparation time and provides a particularly efficient solution for large, sensitive or regularly inspected parts.
Target-free scanning
MARVELSCAN’s third camera can also be used as a standalone photogrammetry system. With standard photogrammetry targets, it improves volumetric measurement accuracy on medium-sized and large components, combining photogrammetry and 3D scanning within a single integrated system.
Integrated photogrammetry
With the optional Wireless Scanning Module, MARVELSCAN can be operated without movement-restricting cables. The lightweight belt-mounted unit provides both connectivity and power, giving the operator greater freedom during measurement.

Hole Flash Capture technology enables multiple circular holes and slotted features to be captured quickly and simultaneously, significantly accelerating common geometric inspection tasks.

Multi-size target recognition
The system recognises 3, 6, 12 and 16 mm targets, allowing preparation to be adapted to the component size and measurement task.
